On Tuesday the children went on a mini beast hunt up on the school field. They all made binoculars to take with them and set off with their spotter sheets. Many different mini beasts were found and looked at and them returned to their habitat.
On Tuesday some of the children helped Tamsyn to create a worm world. They built up the different layers in the container and then added the worms that they had collected. The children were fascinated to watch the worms tunnelling their way into the soil.
James had the most beautiful morning for his parachute jump. We are still waiting to collect all of the money that he has raised, but hope to give you a total soon.
Well done and thank you James.
After a long discussion with the children about where best to post the letter to the Easter bunny, it was decided that a rabbit hole would be best. So we set off with our letter to one of Alice's fields. The children agreed on a rabbit hole and the letter was posted!! This left us just enough time to say hello to Olly the horse.
So the next day we hung a large bunch of carrot in the playground and received a visit from the Easter bunny. He was very generous this year and left hundreds of little eggs everywhere. The children had such fun finding them all, as you can see.
