We are so sad to be saying goodbye to some of this amazing group of children who are moving onto school. They have just been such fun, kind and lovely children to spend time with. We are going to miss them so much but know they are all ready and prepared for the next stage in their learning journey. Good luck, don't forget to come and say hello to us sometimes. xx
We were blessed with the weather for sports day this year and conditions were perfect. The children were enthusiastic, excited and energised and had a fabulous time. As usual we were really well supported by all the families who cheered the children on and joined in the fun. We then had refreshments and a leavers presentation back at pre-school.

Today is big toddle day where the children have been sponsored to complete a toddle to the ponds in aid of Barnardo's. Sarah Henn from forest school joined us and set up a butterfly and caterpillar hunt o the way to the ponds. Whilst at the ponds the children took part in water lily making activities, finger painted caterpillars and many more exciting things. We also then had a bit of an explorers walk through the woods. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who joined us today, we couldn't have done it without you. Also huge thanks to Sarah Henn for making it a fun morning. The toddle raised an impressive £213
We left some carrots out by the gate today in the hope that the Easter bunny might just pay us a visit and amazingly he did! The children had great fun searching for the chocolate bunnies that he had hidden in the playground.
Imagine the excitement from both the children and the adults when the snow began to fall!! Needless to say we got dressed up and went and had a fabulous time.
Our nativity was a huge success, the children were so confident and thoroughly enjoyed themselves performing to a packed hall. The morning raised £712 which has been matched by a kind donation from John Horner. Enormous thanks to him and Lett for their generosity and kindness.
Today we went to the church to see the tree that we had decorated. This years theme was world peace so we made lots of doves to hang on the tree. (They do look more like scary seagulls!)
We were really lucky today to be able to go and visit the fire station. Thankfully the weather was kind and we had a lovely sunny morning to walk down there. Steven and Chris were incredibly kind and patient and we would like to thank them very much. The children had a wonderful morning.
A beautiful Autumn morning and the perfect day for a walk to Roskillys and a play in the park.
To celebrate the beautiful weather, Andrea suggested that we have a Teddy bears picnic today. All the children bought in their favourite teddies who then joined them for the picnic. It was a lot of fun.
